Well, no, she doesn't really, but I would like to win these 30s-style oxfords from American Duchess. Aren't they fabulous?
Despite this blog entry, I don't want you to click that link or anything, because the more people enter the contest, the less likely I am to win. It's simple mathematics.
I promise that I will give them a very good home. I suspect there may be some hugging them close and murmuring "My Precious," if my past shoe-behaviour is anything to go by.
Even if, as seems likely, I do not win the shoes, I'm going to have to save up for a pair of the 23 Skidoos. Those look great, are apparently terrific for dancing, and I'm intrigued by the possibility of customizing them. Which might mean two pairs...

Ha! These are supercute.
ReplyDeleteCan't you just see them on me?
DeleteI won't be entering the contest, but I want the Hartfield Regency Leather Boots so bad I can feel the leather.
ReplyDeleteWell, at the risk of losing to a worth opponent, I should say that you could claim either the shoes or a gift certificate for the same value. But hold on to that first thought...
DeleteLove those shoes! The project I'm currently working on ordered a bunch of shoes from American Duchess - they are all so retro cool! I keep forgetting to look up their site, so thanks for reminding me. =)
ReplyDeleteI love all their shoes. I need all their shoes. Never mind that I have no real place to wear the Victorian button boots. I also really, really like the Edwardian shoes. The Gibson! The Astoria! I swoon.
