It's the first day of spring, which means two things: Jour du Macaron and, this year, the Errandonnée. I got off to a good start. I posted the photos on IG, which means I actually documented my controls in real-time, while the blog posts will all be timey-wimey (this one, for example). My goal this year is to hit every category.
I've been thinking I should make another bike-to-work video to the changes along my route (such as new lights and protected/separated bike lanes) this month.
I had to get money to prep for my much-abbreviated can't-really-call-it-a-Macarondonnée. I only went to three stores this time: AG Macarons, one of my new favourites which happily has a branch at Dupont and Christie (and where I wound up following a bunch of ladies who were clearly making the rounds and had dressed to the absolute nines); Nadege (naturally), and the Queen West branch of Butter Avenue.
Errandonée tally
Work: Jarvis (6.1 km)
Personal errand: ATM (0.35 km)
You Carried What?: Tasty, tasty macarons (13.85 km)
Total Mileage: 20.3 km/12.6 mi
Total Categories used: 3
