There are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity: Errandonées #10-12

So... the temperature shot back down to the negative double digits today. At least it didn't snow, but it meant that we had to bundle up again as we headed off for indian food at our friend C's birthday lunch at Joe's Buffet Place.
cold

At least it was sunny, and at least there is now a tiny bit of parking on Yonge St. I kind of like these rings integrated into the lamps; I just wish there were more of them.

But, as always, food makes all better.
yum

After stuffing our faces, the DC and I went off as the advance guard to try to save 7 seats for The Grand Budapest Hotel on opening weekend while the others walked over. We managed, but only just. The movie is excellent, by the way, and I highly recommend it.

Despite that whole spring forward thing, it was dark when we got out. Queen's Park was pretty magical. Icy, but magical.
icy

We stopped off at the 24-hour Metro on our way home to buy milk, since I have to go back to work tomorrow and will require tea.
