Heartwrenching: Errandonnées #10-12

Yesterday was the last day of the Errandonnée, and I still needed to complete two more errands and ride a bunch more kilometres. And so I did.



The recent rise in temperature has led us to believe we won't need our space heater again, so I strapped it to my Opus to take it to our storage locker. It's an odd shape, with an asymmetric bulge at the back, so I had to balance it at an angle and it was a bit awkward biking with the top right beside the seat. I was worried that the horrible state of road on Ossington would bounce it right off, but that net bungee held it solidly.

I'm sure this will come back to bite us in a month.



I had to take the DC's passport application in so we can actually go somewhere later this year. I meant to go earlier in the day to avoid the lunch rush, but that plan failed miserably. At least I had everything ready; somebody in line said, "Oh, they don't do pictures here?" and I'm like: have you read the application yet? Also? maybe waiting in line at the passport office is not the best place to try and pick someone up^*. Just saying.

I'm sort of getting used to the construction on Richmond at this point. I still don't like it. Humpf.

I went home after this, which usually means I'm done for the day because currently my life is all about the laziness, but I didn't have enough kilometres yet, so off I went to see a movie. In a theatre. Like a real human.



If you haven't seen Room, do it. And bring a hankie. I was a blotchy mess afterwards. But don't talk through all the quiet bits at the beginning.

That's probably why I don't go out to movies that often.

Another year, another official Errandonnée completed. I'm a little sad that I didn't have anything in the Work category this year, but I'm glad I pushed myself to go outside.
