This week, MMM is winding down but the temperatures went up. A lot. One of my (male) students took one look at me on Tuesday and asked "why are all the girls wearing sundresses?" which amused me no end. I have a really warm classroom which gets full afternoon sunlight (and somewhat inefficient curtains) and only one fan, so I was worried I'd have to handle a lot of complaints, but it wasn't too bad -- just the usual grousers. Fortunately the temperatures are supposed to stay at around 23C for this coming last week of classes, which will be very pleasant.

Fourth Monday where I didn't take a photo. I swear this wasn't planned. To be honest, the only things I wore that I made were my cream Swoon cardi, which you've seen a billion times and which I wound up not actually wearing for long because it was too warm even for thin sweaters, and a pair of to-be-blogged Measure Twice Cut Once Mary knickers, which you wouldn't get to see anyway. So I'm not going to bother even trying to recreate it. I will say that the cream cardigan has stretched out quite a bit. Won't stop me from wearing it.May 26

Finally, a bathroom selfie! Shots all around. "Daily Ritual"
I'm wearing my eyelet McCall's sheath (with biking flares) and my to-be-blogged aquamarine Eva earrings. We went to see Morro and Jasp: 9 to 5 at Factory Theatre, so I threw on my to-be-blogged lacy blue Swoon cardi. Morro and Jasp are hilarious. I'm really looking forward to their show at the Fringe this summer. And if you will be in Edinborough this summer, so will they! Go see them.

Liilian H. Smith branch of the TPL. "Borrowed"
I'm wearing my linen Anna top, my Lekala skirt, and my burgundy hoop chandeliers. This is a good outfit for humidity; the denim is very thin.

Back of Queen's Park, aka the Pink Palace. "Pink"
I'm wearing my white cotton Butterick 6582 and my cherry blossom earrings, which is the only pink thing I have made, and one of only three pink items I own. This dress was a huge hit at school, but sadly the back hem got a bit grubby from rubbing against a super-dirty part of my bike. I need more wide belts to wear with it.

I'm wearing my white Dîner en Blanc skirt, my Marfy blouse, and Timeless Teardrop earrings. As I thought it would be, the Marfy blouse is fantastic for hot days; although the silk clung to my

My deck. "Over there"
Another day spent marking while it poured rain outside. I threw this Dîner en Blanc halter top on because it was nice and cool. I have plans for cotton Tofinos so I at least when I don't bother getting dressed next MMM, I will already be wearing something I've made.

My kitchen table. "Ha ha ha"
The temperature went down to below 10C, and it rained steadily all day, so while I was actually planning to take a break and go someplace else to take a picture, I was foiled.* At least we managed to get Lucy into a shot this year. I'm wearing my ecru flannel Tofinos for the first time in MMM because first they were in the laundry and then it got too warm for flannel. I'm also wearing another to-be-blogged pair of Mary knickers and my long blue Swoon cardi. A note about the Tofinos: I complained in January that they were a little short in the back rise, but either they or the elastic has stretched out a bit because the rise doesn't bother me at all anymore.
And so ends another Me-Made May. I'll post my usual wrap-up combined with future plans in a week or two, once exams have been marked. And I have time and room to sew again.
